The essence of „design nurture” is to nurture and cultivate the design process, as well as fostering the growth of design-related skills and mindset. It implies a supportive environment where design thinking and doing are encouraged, nourished, and allowed to flourish.

Magda Kochanowska
With over two decades of design experience, Magda combines practical design work with research and academic pursuits. Since 2013, she has spearheaded companies specialising in the design of processes, services, and experiences. Prior to establishing Design Nurture, she founded DIZKO and later, Design Provision. Magda serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, involved in Total Design Management postgraduate studies at the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Institute of Industrial Design, and is the Head of the Service Design postgraduate studies at SWPS University.
Her project portfolio includes collaborations with notable entities such as the Board of Innovation, Black Red White, EIT Food, Goodie, ING Bank (Poland and the Netherlands), Mercer, Miasto St. Warsaw, Bank Millenium, Milton Essex, Nationale-Nederlanden, Polpharma, PTBRiO, Saint Gobain, Santander Bank, Santander Leasing, Sensirion, Szlachetna Paczka, TUiR Warta, among others.
Joanna Rutkowska
Joanna has been navigating the intersection of design, research, business, education, technology, and art for over a decade. A computer science alumna, her studies spanned artificial intelligence at KULeuven in Belgium, design at StudioLab at TUDelft in the Netherlands, culminating in a PhD in Service Design from Tallinn University in Estonia. She collaborates with Design Nurture as a Senior Design Researcher.
Natalia Markowicz
A versatile designer, Natalia excels in the realm of service, digital product, and experience design. A graduate from the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she specialises in product design and visual communication, with a strong focus on developing UX and UI design and research skills. Natalia contributes to Design Nurture as a UX & Service Designer.
Natalia Cymerman
Natalia is a designer, researcher, and mentor with a leading role in Service Design at a Health Care startup, Doctor.One, and the KIDS foundation – Club of Children’s Hospital Innovators. She also tutors at postgraduate studies in Service Design at SWPS University, collaborating with Design Nurture as a Senior UX & Service Designer.
Magda Szklarczyk-Kominko
An interaction, service, and experience designer, Magda is an alumna of the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and the Graphic Design programme at the Design Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. She has also completed postgraduate studies in User Experience Design at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, working with Design Nurture as a UX & Service Designer.
Natalia Lulek
Natalia, a bachelor’s degree holder from the Faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, is currently pursuing a Master’s in „Design and Research” at the same institution and enhancing her coding and programming skills. She collaborates with Design Nurture as a Junior Designer and manages the Design Mindset Detector™ psychometric tool.
